Fats - Pros and Cons
Fat makes everything taste better. Potatoes taste bland by themselves - but add in butter or sour cream or fry them and turn them into french fries, and they're yummy. Same goes with onions, friend into onion rings.
Unfortunately, fat is very high in calories and most fats simply aren't good for your health. They clog your arteries, increase your cholesterol, cause insulin problems and many other heart related issues.
YET, good fats such as nuts, olives, avocado, fish oils and similar natural fats are very healthy for the body. They regulate your hormones and keep you young... while the "bad" fats actually age you.
The problem is that all the "good" tasting foods contain the bad fats -- pizza, pastries, sauces, anything fried ... well, you get the point. But what if you could eat your favorite foods and actually BLOCK these bad fats from being absorbed into your body?...
"What's A FAT Blocker?"
The good news is that there are certain substances that can actually BLOCK the "absorption" of these "bad fats". What isn't absorbed, doesn't turn into body fat.
For example, you have a slice of cake that has 500 calories. If you take specific "fat blockers", about 20-30% of the fat calories will not be absorbed and thus, instead of 500 calories, you actually only absorb about 350 calories.
So, you got 150 "free" calories....
Even though you ate MORE, you absorbed less and the remaining calories simply go out of you in the "bathroom". The benefit is easier weight loss, lower cholesterol levels and improved regularity - which is the key to a healthy colon.
Another benefit is that you can occasionally "cheat" on your diet, enjoy your favorite foods WITHOUT feeling guilty because 20-30% of what you ate, got "blocked" and won't turn into body fat.
"What Are The Best Fat Blockers"
The most potent and popular fat blocker is Chitosan. It's been used in Europe and Japan for over 25 years with great success. Once activated in the stomach, chitosan binds to fatty acids and carries them through the digestive system, without being absorbed. This helps reduce the amount of fat calories digested by the body.
However, I wouldn't only use Chitosan extract by itself. There are two other "fat blocking" ingredients I like:
So as far as fat blockers and inhibitors, these 3 ingredients work the best, are clinically proven and are safe for daily and long-term use.
But Don't Take A Fat Blocker By Itself...
Now, blocking unhealthy fats is a good start, but why stop there?.... Almost all good tasting foods that are also "bad" for you and are "fattening", are a combination of fats AND carbohydrates.
Pizza ... french fries ... pastries ... and so forth, all contain high amounts of BOTH carbs and fats. So, my suggestion is to also add in good carbohydrate blockers. The most potent and clinically proven ones are:
Combine these 2 ingredients with the above fat blockers, and you'll really accelerate fat loss and prevent an even higher percentage of your calories from being absorbed and turning into body fat..
